For Medically insured patients:
I am contracted with all major insurance company like BUPA, AXA PPP, Aviva, and Vitality to see their patients privately. Please make sure you ask your insurance company for an authorization code before any consultations, tests or treatments I recommended to you.
For private Self-Pay Patients:
My charges for self-pay patients are in line with most major insurance companies. Please contact my secretary for a quote detailing all charges.
When you attend for your first consultation, please bring all clinic letters, test results and medications list or ask your GP or current specialist to send them to me. We will discuss your cancer and all treatment options to enable you to make an informed decision about your cancer treatment. This usually lasts for 45 minutes and you are more than welcome to bring a friend, family member or carer with you for support and to help you to remember what we discussed during the consultation.
Having agreed on a treatment plan, I will be seeing you once every 3 weeks throughout your treatment. These 30 minutes consultations are for you to ask any questions you have not asked before. It is also for me to identify any side effects as early as possible and address them appropriately. When treatment has finished, we will meet every few months to ensure that you are free of symptoms and have good support around you.
Once a treatment programme has been decided, patients can choose to have their treatment at home. This option is suitable and works well for some patients who like the comfort of having chemo at home. Such services are provided by Healthcare at Home and Lloyds pharmacy clinical homecare. Should you wish to consider this then please ask during your consultation.
